How Much Does Fun Cost?

Well...of course fun is priceless...but materials might cost a little bit! Each project is individually priced based on materials cost. Browse the categories (always being updated!) for a project you like, and find the price next to it.

What if I want to make something I have pinned, but don't see it?
We LOVE new projects...so just convo me and I can price quote you materials based on a private party pricing system (materials cost plus $4.00 per person, minimum 8 participants)

Can children come?
Yes, making sure the project is appropriate for the skill and attention level of your child. Parents know best, and so I also ask they are an accompanying paying participant as well.

Can we bring in food or drinks?
Yummy! I love food & drinks, so of course!! I have a small, but full kitchen to hold your goodies for munching during the project. A 30 minute time is provided afterwards for you to clean-up of any food or drink service.

Can you recommend Catering?
Yes, and can provide tasty menus (think fun theme here with the project!!) for private parties.

Private Parties

We offer a new and different way to celebrate and entertain your guests. We are here to help you host one of your most special parties ever!If you want to have a private Pinterest party at Kijsa Housman Studios here are some great ideas for you...

We do birthdays, girls night out, bunko, book club, date night anniversaries, baby showers, bachelorette parties. We will put a great twist on your creative party....

We also specialize in kids parties, Mother/daughter creating, birthdays, graduations and teen parties. They will go home with the best party favor ever, their very own Masterpiece.

Corporate Events: What a great way to entertain. Establish team building with our painting parties. Your employees will thank you time and time again for such a fun and personnel creating party.

Just call or e-mail us and we will be delighted to talk about your next party.. Tell us a little bit about your desires in an e-mail (date, time, number of guest etc.) and we will call you to get the party started.

Here are a few of the basics.

We can accommodate 6-24 guests
Book any night or day available
We can help provide catering or you can bring your own.
A credit card is required to make the reservation and is kept on file. A $50 Deposit is required to hold the date, this deposit is applied to the party to reserve the studio for a private party. Our phone number is 270-331-2787.

The minimum number of guests for a private party is 8.CANCELLATIONS Host/Hostess must provide at least a 5-day cancellation notice, otherwise the deposit is not refunded.
Have an idea of a headcount. Additional guests may be added and cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the event. The host/hostess is financially responsible for meeting the minimum of 8 admissions.
The Cost for a private party is cost of item selected to create plus $4.00 per person.30 minutes before or after creating is allowed, any additional time need for corporate or private events will cost $35 per half hour and will be to be charged to the credit card on file at that time.

You may choose to pay for the entire party or each guest may pay individually the night of the party.

Reschedule policy: All reservations are non-refundable. We must have 24 hour notice to reschedule your class or issue a store credit.

If you are in a Party of Ten or more, we need 5 days notice.

Make your reservation early! If a class does not have a sufficient number of painters, it may be cancelled or replaced with a private party.

How does a Pinterest Party Work?

A Pinterest party is a casual creating experience. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned artist come looking for fun and leave impressed with yourself. We show you step by step methods to create something you can bring home and brag about. We are a different kind of escape that allows you to relax with friends, relieve stress and come home with something uniquely yours. We provide all the supplies you need, and if you like, bring your own drinks or food.

We are the ultimate designing party, but we have put a really fun twist on painting & creating. Kijsa Housman Studios is the perfect place to have your "New Night Out" creating!

It's a party, yours or a Birthday, date night, garden club, bunko group and book club.

We are here to make your party the best ever, be it a large private party of 24 or your own private get together. Just contact me at kijsa@comcast.net or (270)331-2787 to schedule. Also check out Private party info too. Don't forget to bring your favorite eats & drinks and we will provide every thing you need for a great time.

Drop-In parties:
Many Thursday evenings from 6-8pm there will be open studio with a pre-selected craft. Drop-in to create, shop, or simply see how it works! There will be ten spots available each Thursday, but reservations are available for more. To guarantee you get a spot at the table- drop me a line to let me know you are coming. This will guarantee you a spot (and also guarantee payment for your project) Cancelations must be made 3 days in advance to ensure no charge.
Refunds are not available once charged, but I will save your materials for you to pick up at another Thursday to work here, or complete at home.
